Europe Day 23: Madrid – Porto

July 15, 2011August 1, 2018 tangybowser

I can now pass on the torch to Aimes for the last leg of our journey - Portugal. Our chill morning… Continue reading Europe Day 23: Madrid – Porto

Europe Day 22: Madrid

July 12, 2011August 1, 2018 tangybowser

After a nice sit-down breakfast, we strolled towards Retiro Park. There, we saw paddle boating, a beautiful crystal palace (with creepy voices) and almost died from the heat, even with ice cream bars! So we ran to grab some lunch before heading home for a siesta. We originally planned to do laundry but failed since… Continue reading Europe Day 22: Madrid

Craving international snacks and want to #supportlocal? Look what lovely surprise arrived in our front steps on this snowy day!!! @shopwonbini has snacks from around the world and offer same day shipping for those in the Ottawa/Gatineau region. Thanks @leroy_s117 for the nice treats! 😋 So excited to try them all! #food #snacks #japanese #supportsmallbusiness
Hope everyone had a great Valentine’s Day! I know we did with @nextottawa’s Global Tables dining at home experience 🤤 ❤️ Allow your tastebuds to travel to Thailand with us during this time when we can’t. See link in bio for full blog post! •
Happy Lunar New Year’s Eve, everyone! 🧧 Hope everyone will have a lucky year ahead. Even though we couldn’t gather for our reunion dinner this year, we tried to order as much traditional CNY food as we can from Jadeland Restaurant. @localeatsyow #supportsmallbusiness #supportlocal
Happy anniversary, Aaron. This year, we couldn’t go out or travel anywhere, which is a shame for two self-proclaimed foodies. Instead he ordered tacos 🌮 from @eldorado_taco for dinner 🍽 First time trying their food. Their yam taco with fried vermicelli was delish!
Attending a virtual baby shower 🍼 in a bit. The organizers were so nice to send us some treats! My pick is some fluffy Japanese cheesecake from @uncletetsuottawa 😋 Reminiscing the days when we were in the train station of Osaka trying to grab a cheesecake last minute before the train departs Amazing Race-style!!
