Travel day! I will miss Spain since we’re just starting to get the hang of the culture and language. At the same time, I am relieved that my part of the trip is done! I can now pass on the torch to Aimes for the last leg of our journey - Portugal. Our chill morning… Continue reading Europe Day 23: Madrid – Porto

Europe Day 22: Madrid

July 12, 2011August 1, 2018 tangybowser

After a nice sit-down breakfast, we strolled towards Retiro Park. There, we saw paddle boating, a beautiful crystal palace (with creepy voices) and almost died from the heat, even with ice cream bars! So we ran to grab some lunch before heading home for a siesta. We originally planned to do laundry but failed since… Continue reading Europe Day 22: Madrid

Congee, soy milk and youtiao. Simple, delicious breakfast.
Clams! Risked my life eating this. Taste like the ocean. Not my favourite. Enjoyed the rest of my seafood feast here though. See blog for details.
Noodles for days!!!
Found this hidden gem at the food court on the second floor of @imagoshoppingmall! Fried chicken with curry on rice! Delicious 🤤! See today’s blog post for details.
Fish, veggies, and rice - a staple home-cooked meal here in Malaysia. Day 17 post is up!

Boiled whole chicken and juicy satays!! My stomach is content ❤️ Nasi lemak - the national dish of Malaysia. It is traditionally served wrapped in banana leaf and includes fragrant coconut rice, anchovies (ikan bilis), peanuts, sambal (a flavourful chili paste) and boiled egg. See today’s blog post for more. Since the last time Aaron was in Malaysia (2020), there is now a lot of new coffee shops serving specialty coffee ☕️ suitable for a coffee snob like Aaron 🤓
